Sundilla continues the tradition of bringing world-renowned performers to Auburn when Dirk Hamilton takes the stage on Friday, April 5. Showtime is 7:30 and admission is just $12 at the door, with advance tickets available for just $10 from The Gnu’s Room, Spicer’s Music, and online at www.sundillamusic.com. Some might see the name Dirk Hamilton and think “Who?”. But just because Dirk Hamilton isn’t famous in east-central Alabama doesn’t mean that they don’t know him, and his music, in other places. After all, when you’ve been performing and making records for more than 30 years, it’s hard to stay unknown. […] Read more »

And we’re even happier that we get to present Caroline Herring, ensuring that we will offer a fantastic concert for the cause. Acoustic Tuesdays at The Gnu’s Room

NakedBlue

For several years, our friends at The Gnu’s Room have been presenting live music. Quite often, the artists they have had are people we would have booked at Sundilla, had the circumstances and the calendar been more favorable. Starting in 2013, there will be live music at The Gnu’s Room most every Tuesday, and on the third Tuesday of every month, the concert will be booked by Sundilla. Just like with our shows at the AUUF, we’ll be striving to bring the best of the best; these are concerts you will WANT to attend! The venue is a bit smaller, […] Read more »

Every third Tuesday, the Acoustic Tuesdays concert at The Gnu’s Room is booked by Sundilla. We use this opportunity to present performers who deserve to play at Sundilla, but just haven’t had the chance yet, for whatever reason. No one fits this description better than Roy Schneider. Roy Schneider is a joyful player of most things stringed; Blues Matters! magazine describes his music as “A beguiling and tasty stew of blues, country, folk, and Americana.” Schneider has twice been a finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill New Folk Competition as well as numerous other national competitions. “Walls that […] Read more »
